About Us

The Story Behind Upstream Initiative

Who We Are

Upstream Initiative is based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and founded by Lee Wainright, who brings three decades of experience across police communications, EMS, and critical care dispatch. Every tool we build starts with a real problem, lived firsthand.
